The Role • Direct and oversee the hospital's accounting systems and financial operations, including billing, accounts receivable, cash receipts, collections, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, forecasting, and budgeting. • Prepare comprehensive monthly and annual financial reviews, budgets, and any required state financial reports. • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, in collaboration with hospital leadership and corporate office. • Participate in hospital Governing Body committees and partnership boards as required. • Assist in monitoring compliance with healthcare regulations. • Foster a culture of celebrating team accomplishments and successes. What You'll Need • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (MBA preferred). • Minimum of five years of experience in hospital accounting or financial management. • Strong understanding of financial management and analysis principles, techniques, and managerial skills. • Proven experience in financial operations, including labor management, revenue and expense analysis, contract negotiation, and utilization review. • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, both capital planning and operations. • Experience in establishing and executing robust internal control environments.
