All classes are built on the HighScope curriculum, the same hands-on, active-learning approach used across every Heartfelt classroom.
What you'll do:
- Plan and lead weekly Tiny Hearts and Curious Hearts classes (45 min each, one day a week per class)
- Host a weekly 20-minute virtual New Mom & Infant class via Zoom

- Welcome new families warmly and help them feel at home, whether or not they're already enrolled at Heartfelt
- Set up and tidy the classroom space before and after class, and keep track of attendance and supplies

What we're looking for:
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers
- Comfortable leading a class and connecting with parents, not just kids
- A warm, patient, high-energy personality and strong communication skills
- Reliable weekly availability (schedule confirmed at offer)
- Able to pass a background check per Michigan childcare licensing requirements
Preferred:
- Familiarity with the High Scope curriculum or a similar active-learning approach
- Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
- CDA credential and/or current CPR/First Aid certification
- Paid professional development
- Childcare discount (Trishare)
- Free Telehealth
- Paid time off
- Paid Planning Time
- Referral bonuses
- Annual performance reviews and increases
- Free breakfast, lunch, and snacks
- Birthday benefits

Join a team that's been nurturing, inspiring, and supporting Oakland County families for years, across our Clarkston, Lake Orion, and Rochester centers. This role is a great fit for an educator who wants meaningful part-time work with flexible hours and a genuine, family-first culture.
