Implementation Analytics Fall Intern - Claims Monitoring & Automation (Part Time)

Location: Hybrid (Local to Denver or NYC area)

Position Summary:

The Implementation Analytics Intern will support the design and development of automated claims monitoring and anomaly detection capabilities for new client implementations across Judi Health's pharmacy and medical products. This role will work closely with the Implementation team to analyze claims data, identify trends and outliers, and help develop automated processes that improve post-go-live monitoring and reduce manual review efforts.

The intern will gain hands-on experience working with healthcare claims data, implementation operations, data analytics, and automation initiatives that directly impact client launch success. The project will contribute to developing a scalable framework that supports both pharmacy and medical implementations in advance of significant business growth planned for 2027.

Position Responsibilities:

• Analyze pharmacy and medical claims data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential implementation issues during post-go-live stabilization periods.

• Support the development of automated monitoring processes that reduce reliance on manual claims reviews.

• Work with implementation leaders to understand benefit designs, configuration intent, and operational workflows.

• Develop SQL queries and Python-based analytics to evaluate claim adjudication outcomes and detect inconsistencies.

• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable implementation insights.

• Assist in evaluating large datasets to identify potential configuration, eligibility, formulary, network, or medical benefit issues.

• Perform exploratory data analysis to support anomaly detection model development.

• Document findings, methodologies, and recommendations for implementation leadership.

• Present project progress, insights, and recommendations to leadership stakeholders.

• Support development of a repeatable monitoring framework that can scale across multiple Judi Health products and lines of business.

• Responsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct, including reporting of noncompliance.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience using Python and SQL for data analysis, reporting, or automation projects.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.

• Experience working with structured datasets and performing data cleansing, transformation, and analysis.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with healthcare, pharmacy, medical claims, or insurance-related data.

• Familiarity with machine learning, anomaly detection, statistical modeling, or predictive analytics.

• Experience creating dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar visualization tools.

• Experience using GitHub or a similar version control platform.

• Coursework or project experience involving automation, data engineering, or healthcare analytics.
