Job Description

If you love TV shows, writing, creating video and social media, this is the role for you. We commission and edit ‘How to Watch’ articles across some of Future’s biggest brands, from Tom’s Guide and TechRadar to Cinema Blend and Space. Whether it’s Love Island, Traitors or an obscure documentary – we cover it all, and we want you to help!

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Senior Editor, you'll be editing, commissioning and launching ‘How to Watch’ web articles. You’ll be a dab hand at spotting trending TV shows and turning that into content gold. 

You'll also be creating social media and video (think YouTube Shorts, TikTok, etc) about the latest TV shows, so you’ll need to be comfortable talking about TV shows on camera and capable of basic video editing.

This role would suit a graduate or junior writer who is obsessed with all things TV and would enjoy turning that passion into engaging TV-focused content that delivers revenue.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

  • A love of TV – and streaming content online  
  • Writing/editing/subbing background
  • Experience with traffic and revenue
  • Successful creation of social/video content
  • Love of research/strong organisational skills
