Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior .NET Core Developer / Programmer Analyst to support the modernization of an enterprise tolling transaction platform. The role will focus on developing and enhancing backend services, REST APIs, and microservices using .NET Core, C#, Azure, and SQL Server.

The selected candidate will work closely with solution architects, cloud engineers, SQL developers, API developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with .NET Core and C#

• 7+ years of experience developing REST APIs and Microservices

• 7+ years of experience integrating applications with SQL Server, including SQL Server hosted on Azure VM environments

• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, SOLID principles, and development best practices

• 7+ years of experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub CI/CD pipelines

• 7+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools

• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and microservices architecture

• Experience working with distributed systems and high-availability applications

• Experience with SSIS, Databricks, or other ETL/data integration platforms

• Experience with tolling, transportation, or transaction-processing systems is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain .NET Core backend services and REST APIs

• Build scalable and modular applications using microservices architecture

• Support modernization and partial rewrite of an enterprise tolling transaction platform

• Collaborate with SQL developers to design and implement efficient data-access patterns

• Develop new application features and enhance existing functionality

• Participate in application and database performance optimization

• Integrate backend applications with Azure services and cloud-based components

• Build and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub

• Integrate backend services with ETL pipelines including Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or Databricks

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, and sprint delivery

• Collaborate with architects, developers, cloud engineers, testers, and other cross-functional teams
