Salesforce QA Engineer — Manual and Regression Testing, Experience Cloud Portals, Lending (Remote, India)

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

Manually test every Apex, LWC and Flow change against the acceptance criteria in the Jira ticket, plus exploratory testing around it 

Own and run the regression checklist across portals, lending flows and integrations before every release; keep it current; record the result as release evidence 

Test Experience Cloud portals: self-registration and onboarding, login including federated SSO, sharing and guest-user visibility, behaviour across partner roles, personas and devices 

Test lending flows: application intake, status visibility, document and e-signature steps, post-origination hand-offs 

Test integrations end to end: NetSuite quote-to-cash sync, partner APIs, Platform Events — mappings, error handling, idempotency, record reconciliation across Salesforce, NetSuite and Snowflake 

Attach test cases, results, screenshots and defect logs to every story; log, triage and retest in Jira; keep test plans in Confluence; report status in the daily standup 

MUST HAVE (ALL OF THESE — NO EXCEPTIONS) 

Salesforce testing: hands-on manual functional and regression testing of Sales / Service Cloud — objects, validation rules, Flows, profiles, permission sets, record-level security; clear, reproducible test cases and defect reports 

Experience Cloud testing: has tested at least one partner or customer portal — registration, role-based access, sharing and guest visibility, multi-persona and cross-device checks. Portal testers go to the top of the list 

Financial-process testing: has tested a lending, financial-services or order-to-cash process on Salesforce; works on masked or synthetic data only 

Integration testing: Postman or equivalent, cross-system record comparison, working SOQL, reading API and integration logs 

Regression discipline: builds and maintains a regression checklist, runs it completely before every release, produces auditable evidence 

Delivery tooling: Jira, Confluence, Git basics; familiarity with SFDX and GitHub Actions pipelines 

Experience: 1–3 years in software QA including at least 1 year testing Salesforce and at least one portal or financial-process implementation 

Certification: none required; Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder preferred; ISTQB Foundation, Experience Cloud Site Consultant or Provar a plus 

NICE TO HAVE 

Test automation (Provar, Selenium, Playwright) in CI; Q2 Cloud Lending / Symphonix or another loan-origination package; NetSuite or ERP exposure; SQL against Snowflake; Data Loader and Workbench; API automation; AI-assisted test-case generation on masked data; prior work with US enterprise clients from offshore.
