Job Description

SAP HCM Consultant (HR & Payroll)- 6 months | UK/Ireland

We're recruiting for an experienced SAP HCM Consultant to join a dynamic IT Service Delivery team, supporting HR and Payroll areas of SAP systems that underpin critical business functions for a leading organisation. You'll collaborate closely with IT and business stakeholders across day-to-day operations and projects, providing subject matter expertise across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud, and UK & Irish Payroll.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise and support for the customer's SAP systems
  • Provide end-user support for SAP S/4HANA & SAP Cloud applications, and UK & Irish Payroll
  • Provide support for SAP HR & Payroll modules
  • Investigate and resolve support calls raised by the business
  • Work on internal SAP projects and Change Requests as required
  • Identify potential process improvement opportunities across the SAP landscape
  • Liaise with stakeholders on specification, development, and testing of enhancements/modifications to the SAP solution
  • Complete knowledge transfer for respective application areas to other team members
  • Work alongside Team Leads, Delivery Leads, Functional SMEs, and Solution Architects to identify and manage risks
  • Manage change request scoping, including estimation/design (functional specifications) and implementation (system configuration)

What You Will Ideally Bring

  • Strong functional experience in SAP S/4HANA Core HR modules: Personnel Admin, Organisational Management, Time Management (including Time Evaluation, Cross Application Timesheet), and Compensation Management
  • Experience in UK and Irish Payroll
  • Experience with Employee Self Service/Manager Self Service using WDA and FIORI-based applications
  • Minimum 10+ years' experience in similar roles
  • Hands-on functional experience in SAP ERP/S/4HANA or SAP Cloud, including business process definition, configuration, functional specification, and functional/integration/performance/regression testing
  • Experience gathering business requirements from stakeholders and designing/implementing business solutions

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Rate: £525 day - Inside IR35
  • Location: UK/Ireland - once per month Ireland (Hybrid)
  • Start Date: ASAP
