Job Description

Role : Power Automate Developer / Intelligent Automation Consultant

Location : Walnut Creek, CA ( Onsite)

Type: Contract

 

JD :

We are looking for an experienced Power Automate Developer / Intelligent Automation Consultant to design, develop, and implement business process automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power Automate Cloud Flows, AI-powered automation capabilities, and integration with enterprise applications. Experience with Java and Spring Frameworks is highly desirable for building and integrating custom services and APIs.

This role will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to identify automation opportunities, streamline processes, and deliver scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

Automation Development

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Build intelligent workflows leveraging AI capabilities such as:
    • AI Builder
    • Document Processing
    • Intelligent Data Extraction
    • Classification and Prediction Models
    • Copilot-enabled automation capabilities
  • Create reusable automation components and templates.
  • Develop automated approvals, notifications, data synchronization, and business process workflows.

Integration and Development

  • Integrate Power Automate solutions with:
    • Microsoft 365 applications
    • SharePoint Online
    • Teams
    • Outlook
    • Dynamics 365
    • SQL Server
    • REST APIs
    • Third-party applications
  • Develop and consume APIs for enterprise integrations.
  • Collaborate with development teams to connect automation workflows with existing systems and applications.

Governance and Support

  • Follow Power Platform governance, security, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues.
  • Perform unit testing, system testing, and deployment activities.
  • Document technical designs, workflows, and support procedures.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and support to business users and IT teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience developing automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Strong understanding of Power Platform components and capabilities.
  • Experience working with:
    • Power Automate Cloud Flows
    • Custom Connectors
    • REST APIs
    • JSON
    • SharePoint Online
    • Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • Experience in process automation, workflow design, and business process improvement.
  • Good understanding of security, authentication, and access management concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
