Role: Senior Consultant
Location: Sydney
Salary: 100,975 - 120,433 AUD Annual Gross

Responsibilities

• Well versed with application deployment and configuration baselines and understanding of how the application environment operates in a secure environment and how exceptions are handled during operations.
• Facilitate use of technology based tools or methodologies to continuously improve the monitoring, management, and reliability of the service.
• Define architecture and design elements for the implementation of ServiceNow ITSM, CSM, ITOM, CMDB & Discovery modules (including design data/object models, technical workflow diagrams, access control models).
• Understand business requirements and define & document epics, user stories, create UI mock ups, and adopt a roll up the sleeves approach to make things happen.
• Facilitate ServiceNow training and support team on complex system configuration.
• Responsible for end to end application design, workflow configurations, and customizations.
• Demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering solutions that optimize architecture activities across company needs, business constraints, and technological realities.
• Responsible for sprint demos internally, delivery of additional development artifacts and documentation, and knowledge transfer activities as required.
• Work collaboratively with ServiceNow team and business stakeholders to monitor scope creep and resolve critical path technical issues and challenges.
• Provide mentorship to developers and platform engineers on technical design standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Relevant ServiceNow experience (Preferred CSM, ITSM, ITOM, CMDB).
• Hands on experience in configuring Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, complex workflows, and solution migration to higher environments.
• Proficiency with AngularJS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, CSS, HTML5.
• Hands on experience in creating Catalog items, Record Producers, Order Guides, flows, Schedule jobs, and fix scripts.
• Hands on experience with at least two ServiceNow modules or use cases (Discovery Configuration/Maintenance, Service Mapping Configuration/Maintenance, Event Management, ITSM, ITOM, CMDB).
• Hands on experience in implementation, operation, and maintenance of major CMDB products.
• Broad knowledge of asset/CI discovery tools, both agent based and agentless.
• Automate administrative & operational CMDB/Discovery tasks and MID Server administration.
• Experience in implementing scripted Web services in ServiceNow (SOAP, REST) and integrations with external systems using connectors.
• Excellent documentation and presentation, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work with teams across geographical locations.
• Creates business and technical design specifications for implementation of the ServiceNow Platform.
• Delivered more than 2-3 projects from scratch/requirement gathering to go live.
• Good knowledge of Subscription Management, license management, and Mid server setup.
• Experience in handling ServiceNow clone and upgrade activities.
• Managing CMDB health by monitoring Discovery schedules, data loads, and integrations.
• Plan and track activities related to ServiceNow family upgrades.

Preferred

• Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM.
• Education, certifications and/or experience qualifications.
• Experience working on the ServiceNow platform in global implementation projects.
• Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Working knowledge of ITSM and ITOM.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
• ServiceNow Discovery & Service Mapping certification.
