SDET Engineer – Ruby

We’re hiring an SDET Engineer with strong Ruby expertise in Sunnyvale, CA. 

Introduction

We are looking for an experienced SDET Engineer with strong Ruby expertise to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation frameworks using Ruby.
• Build and maintain automated UI, API, and integration tests.
• Develop reusable test scripts and improve test coverage.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test failures, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with developers.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall QA strategy.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Ruby/Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with RSpec, Cucumber, Capybara, Selenium, or similar tools.
• Strong API testing experience using REST/HTTP.
• Experience with SQL/database testing.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and automation frameworks.
