  • Up to AUD 800k package in Year 1

Technical SRE Lead - Sydney (CBD, Office-based)

Join a world-leading global research and technology company where engineering drives success. This is a career-defining opportunity to take charge of critical systems, lead from the front, and remain hands-on with cutting-edge infrastructure.

What's on offer:

  • Up to AUD 800k package in Year 1, with no ceiling on future earnings

  • Relocation and full sponsorship available

  • International travel to the US, Europe, and Asia

  • On-call participation as part of a global follow-the-sun model

About the Role:

We are hiring a Technical SRE Lead who thrives on solving problems head-on. You will drive projects, mentor junior engineers, and engineer solutions across large-scale, high-performance environments. This role is about leading from the front, not from the sidelines.

Preferred Background:

  • Experience guiding teams and projects in Big Tech or other large-scale global environments

  • Deep expertise in IT operations spanning SRE, DevOps, Linux Systems, and Networking

  • Linux: scheduling, performance tuning, kernel internals

  • Coding: Python or Shell (C++ a plus but not essential)

  • Degree in Computer Science preferred but not required

If you are ready to step into a role with no glass ceiling, world-class compensation, and global scope, this is your next move.
