Sr. Product Manager - Contract - Orlando, FL - $80.00 - $95.00/hr

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's/applicant's qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Sr. Product Manager in Orlando, FL

Role Description

Overall product strategy and defining the roadmap for our project and portfolio management tool. The Product manager will work closely with the end users, application team, key stakeholders to enhance the tool and evolve our product offering. He or she will oversee the product lines life cycle and anticipate problems.

Collection of business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, writing specifications/ user stories, driving project schedules from design to release, and managing the production launch. You will lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts between internal teams and outside vendors to develop optimal solutions. You will be expected to make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams.

Partners with senior product leadership to refresh the product strategy on a regular basis or as required to support changes to product strategy. The Product manager will be responsible for translating that strategy into epics, including user stories, mind maps and product specifications. Maintains strategic partnerships throughout the organization and acts as a key product advisor for the PPM Tool
Ability to start with end user and work backwards to define the product vision based on customer needs.

Manages the feature development and defect backlog on a daily basis to ensure that priorities adhere to the strategic direction
Attends daily scrums with development studios to help drive priority decisions and remove roadblocks
Supports cross-functional team to ensure a solid understanding of the defined scope
Communicates changes in strategic direction or priority shifts to cross-functional teams
Collaborates with various groups (process, Agile coaching, organizational change management, portfolio management, finance, etc.) to build and manage scope expectations
Translates the tool/business strategy into clearly prioritized epics and user stories.

Ensures appropriate delivery of those epics/user stories across the development lifecycle
Assists the leadership team in translating product vision into presentations that will be shared with executive audiences and partners across the organization
Effectively uses presentation tools to continuously share the product vision with delivery partners.

Skills & Requirements

Product Sustainment & Continuous Improvement
Translate Strategy: Turn the digital strategy into clearly prioritized user stories and business requirements.

Requirements: Define clear and detailed product specifications, user stories, business rules and acceptance criteria.

Use Modern Tools: Apply familiarity with AI tools to craft initial Business Requirements, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.

Guide Lifecycle: Ensure appropriate delivery of Product requirements across the development lifecycle.

Support Studios: Support multiple cross-functional teams and development studios to ensure a solid understanding of the defined scope.

Drive Enhancements: Lead continuous improvement projects to upgrade existing digital features based on changing business needs.

Launch Readiness: Coordinate with operations, marketing, and training teams to ensure a smooth transition from product testing to live launch.

Optimize Experiences: Analyze Guest feedback, app reviews, and operational data to find and fix pain points in existing digital experiences.

Build Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across, including marketing, operations, design, engineering, and other product teams.

Organization & Multitasking Skills
Task Prioritization: Proven ability to balance multiple competing projects, bug fixes, and long-term strategic enhancements at the same time.

Time Management: Highly organized with a track record of meeting strict deadlines while managing day-to-day operational issues.

Context Switching: Comfortable switching gears smoothly between high-level strategic planning and detailed technical troubleshooting.
Bachelors Degree or 17 years of relevant experience
