Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decision-making. This role is suitable for entry level candidates or candidates with internships, academic projects, or up to 2 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and organize data from multiple sources.
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
• Write basic to intermediate SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
• Perform data quality checks and identify inconsistencies or discrepancies.
• Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking.
• Support business teams with ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests.
• Collaborate with analysts, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Document data sources, reporting processes, and analytical findings.
• Present insights and findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of data cleaning and data validation concepts.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of KPIs, dashboards, and reporting.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Internship experience, academic projects, certifications, or relevant coursework in Data Analytics is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in Data Analytics, Reporting, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
