Senior Marketing Analytics Analyst (SQL/Python, Tableau, GA4)
Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL (Hybrid 2 Days/Week)
Full-Time | $60,000-$110,000 + Comprehensive Benefits (based on experience ) 
 

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Analytics Analyst to join our client's growing analytics team. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who enjoys transforming complex marketing data into actionable business insights. You will partner with cross-functional teams to measure campaign performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and help drive strategic marketing decisions.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze performance across multiple marketing channels, including paid media, paid search, social media, email marketing, and web analytics.
  • Generate actionable insights that support business decision-making and campaign optimization.
  • Partner with marketing, strategy, creative, and account teams to develop measurement frameworks and learning agendas.
  • Use SQL and relational databases to answer business questions and support reporting initiatives.
  • Develop advanced analyses and models using Python and/or R.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve marketing performance.
  • Support digital measurement initiatives, including tagging, tracking, and performance monitoring.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Lead analytical initiatives across multiple projects and business priorities.
  • Mentor junior analysts by providing guidance, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current with emerging analytics technologies, marketing trends, and measurement methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, digital analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  • Experience using Python and/or R for data analysis and statistical modeling.
  • Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization platforms.
  • Experience with web and digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics (GA4) or Adobe Analytics.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business recommendations.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a consulting, agency, or client-facing environment.
  • Knowledge of marketing attribution, campaign measurement, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with customer insights, audience analytics, and marketing measurement frameworks.
  • Experience with marketing technology platforms and data integration projects.
