Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Database Infrastructure Engineer to support and manage enterprise database infrastructure for the Client. This role focuses on database administration, automation, Azure cloud infrastructure, Windows Server administration, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and production support.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Cloud, Windows Server, PowerShell, SSIS, DevOps, and Power Platform technologies. This is an infrastructure-focused role rather than an application development role.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise SQL Server environments.
- Manage Azure cloud infrastructure supporting database systems.
- Administer Windows Servers hosting SQL Server environments.
- Develop PowerShell and SSIS scripts to automate database administration tasks.
- Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot SQL Jobs, ETL processes, and maintenance plans.
- Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and capacity planning.
- Implement backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
- Configure security, permissions, and database access following State compliance standards.
- Support IIS configuration and application environments.
- Work closely with development teams to support .NET applications.
- Assist with CI/CD deployment processes.
- Support Power BI Services, PowerApps, and Power Automate integrations.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide critical support when needed.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 7+ years of SQL Server Administration
- 7+ years of Azure Infrastructure
- 7+ years of Windows Server Administration
- 7+ years of PowerShell
- 7+ years of SSIS
- 7+ years supporting enterprise production databases
- Strong troubleshooting experience
