Senior Delphi Developer

A senior opportunity for an experienced Delphi developer ready to combine hands-on technical ownership with real mentoring and team leadership. You'll maintain and enhance a large-scale, business-critical enterprise application used by clients globally — while actively raising the capability of the wider team around you. The Role

• Maintain and enhance a mission-critical Delphi application; diagnose and resolve complex defects
• Act as technical mentor — coaching developers, sharing knowledge, raising team capability
• Lead on planning, estimating and reviewing development work
• Guide best practice on secure coding, documentation and QA
• Liaise with business users, QA and infrastructure teams as senior technical contact
• Contribute technical direction to modernisation and transition projects What You'll Bring
• 10+ years' commercial Delphi (XE2, XE10+)
• 10+ years' Transact-SQL / MS SQL Server
• 3+ years' .NET C# ideally
• Demonstrable experience mentoring developers and/or leading technical teams
• Experience with legacy, undocumented systems
• Agile/Waterfall/hybrid delivery experience
• Strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience preferred. Role is hybrid with Monday and Wednesday in the office
