Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEnd-User Engagement (EUE) Liaison - EHR ImplementationMicroHealth is seeking a dynamic and experienced End-User Engagement (EUE) Liaison to serve as a critical bridge between multiple stakeholder groups during comprehensive Electronic Health Record (EHR) system implementations across multiple medical centers.
This role requires a strategic communicator and change management professional who can ensure consistency, drive adoption, and facilitate seamless coordination across Training, Change Management, Communications, Informatics, and deployment teams throughout complex healthcare technology transitions. Position OverviewThe End-User Engagement Liaison will act as the central coordination point—the "fulcrum"—between diverse stakeholder groups and the central deployment team during multi-site EHR implementations.
This role is essential to ensuring consistency and repeatability in end-user engagement execution across multiple hospital deployments at different stages of their EHR transition journey.
The ideal candidate will proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolve cross-functional issues, and maintain strong relationships with clinical, administrative, and technical stakeholders to drive successful EHR adoption and optimize the end-user experience.*This position requires significant client interaction and travel to medical center sites for key onsite events, go-lives, and stakeholder engagement activities.
These are hybrid roles on-site 40%.Key ResponsibilitiesLead as the primary End-User Engagement (EUE) Liaison for comprehensive EHR system implementations across multiple medical centersServe as the central point of coordination between Training, Change Management, Adoption, Communications, Informatics, and the central deployment teamEnsure consistency and repeatability in EUE strategies, processes, and execution across multiple hospital deployments at varying stages of transitionDevelop and maintain standardized EUE frameworks, templates, and best practices that can be scaled across diverse healthcare environmentsAct as the "glue" between multiple stakeholder groups, facilitating collaboration and alignment across organizational boundariesBuild and maintain strong relationships with clinical leadership, administrative staff, IT teams, training coordinators, and end-users at multiple medical centersFacilitate regular stakeholder meetings, working sessions, and communication forums to ensure alignment and address concernsTranslate technical EHR concepts into user-friendly language for diverse audiences including physicians, nurses, administrative staff, and support personnelGather feedback from end-users and stakeholders to inform continuous improvement of training, adoption strategies, and system optimizationServe as the voice of the end-user, advocating for their needs and concerns throughout the implementation lifecyclePartner with Change Management teams to develop and execute comprehensive change strategies that drive EHR adoption and minimize resistanceIdentify change impacts across different user groups and develop targeted engagement strategies to address specific needs and concernsMonitor adoption metrics and user sentiment, proactively addressing barriers to successful EHR utilizationSupport the development and execution of change readiness assessments, impact analyses, and adoption measurement frameworksFacilitate change champion networks and super-user programs to build grassroots support for EHR adoptionCollaborate with Training teams to ensure training content, delivery methods, and schedules align with end-user needs and organizational readinessCoordinate training logistics across multiple sites, ensuring consistent quality and effectivenessSupport the identification of training gaps and recommend adjustments to training strategies based on end-user feedback and adoption dataFacilitate train-the-trainer sessions and support the development of site-based training resourcesMonitor training effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements to training approachesPartner with Communications teams to develop and disseminate clear, timely, and relevant information to end-users throughout the implementation lifecycleEnsure consistent messaging across all sites while allowing for site-specific customization as neededDevelop communication materials including newsletters, FAQs, quick reference guides, and visual aids to support end-user understanding and adoptionCoordinate communication channels including town halls, department meetings, email campaigns, and digital platformsMonitor communication effectiveness and adjust strategies based on stakeholder feedbackProactively identify risks related to end-user engagement, training effectiveness, adoption barriers, and stakeholder alignmentDevelop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks before they impact implementation successServe as the escalation point for end-user concerns, issues, and feedback, coordinating resolution across appropriate teamsFacilitate issue resolution meetings and ensure timely follow-up on action itemsDocument lessons learned and incorporate insights into future deployment strategiesCoordinate EUE activities across multiple concurrent implementations, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines and milestonesDevelop and maintain EUE project plans, tracking progress against key deliverables and success metricsProvide regular status updates to project leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommended actionsSupport go-live readiness assessments from an end-user engagement perspectiveParticipate in project meetings, working sessions, and governance forums as the EUE subject matter experienceTravel to medical center sites for key events including kickoffs, training sessions, go-lives, and post-implementation support activitiesProvide onsite presence during critical implementation phases to support end-users, address concerns in real-time, and ensure smooth transitionsConduct site visits to assess readiness, gather feedback, and build relationships with local stakeholdersSupport elbow-to-elbow assistance during go-live periods as neededFlexibility to travel across the country to client sites as implementation schedules requireRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development, or related fieldMinimum five or more years of Change Management experience in healthcare or complex organizational environmentsDemonstrated ability to develop and execute change strategies that drive adoption and minimize resistanceExperience with change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, and change readiness evaluationProven track record of supporting organizational transitions and technology implementationsFive or more years of Training experience in healthcare or technology environmentsExperience coordinating training programs for diverse audiencesUnderstanding of adult learning principles and training effectiveness measurementAbility to assess training needs and recommend appropriate delivery methodsFive or more
