Business Development Manager - Hospital Technology (Victoria / Queensland)

OTE circa $220k AUD True ownership Enterprise hospital sales

We're looking for one exceptional business hunter, a commercially sharp, autonomous professional who thrives in complex hospital environments and wants to drive real impact. This isn't a team role, and it's not for title collectors. This is about winning meaningful work, shaping hospital operations, and building lasting relationships.

At Austco, our solutions sit at the heart of hospital operations, nurse call systems, clinical communication platforms, and real-time workflow technologies used across acute healthcare environments to improve patient safety, staff responsiveness, and operational efficiency.

As the person in this role, you'll own your patch, your pipeline, and your relationships. Your work will influence a meaningful portion of our revenue and help shape Austco's growth across Australia.

What you'll do
  • Originate and win new business across Victoria or Queensland, with opportunities to support national projects.
  • Build and manage a multi-million-dollar pipeline, taking opportunities from first conversation through to close.
  • Represent Austco credibly at senior hospital and health-system level.
  • Collaborate with technical and leadership teams to win the right work, not just any work.
  • Own the client relationship long-term - if you win the client, you keep the relationship.
Who will thrive

You're a proven hospital technology or medical equipment sales professional who understands how to navigate complex healthcare environments. You know how to open doors, build trust, and create opportunities from scratch.

You may come from selling:

  • Hospital technology solutions
  • Clinical communication systems
  • RTLS / healthcare workflow software
  • Medical capital equipment
  • Healthcare infrastructure solutions

This isn't for pharmaceutical or consumables sales - this is complex technology and solutions sales, with enterprise-level buyers, multi-stakeholder relationships, and long-term impact.
