Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Juniper Network Engineer to support a large-scale, mission-critical network environment, with a focus on Service Provider Routing & Switching, Network Operations, and Operational Support.

The role will involve supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex Juniper network infrastructure while working closely with engineering teams and JTAC to resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support and maintenance across large-scale network and data center environments.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and support Juniper MX, QFX, EX, and SRX platforms.
• Support complex routing and switching technologies including:
• BGP
• OSPF
• MPLS / MPLS-TE
• EVPN / VXLAN
• Multicast
• RSVP / LDP
• L2VPN / L3VPN
• Pseudowires
• Routing Policies
• GRE
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, configuration, and network performance issues.
• Open and manage JTAC cases through to resolution.
• Provide root cause analysis and technical status updates.
• Identify opportunities to improve network reliability, design, and operational efficiency.
• Support basic network automation using Python and Ansible.
• Produce technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer where required.

Key Skills

• Strong Juniper routing and switching experience.
• Hands-on experience with MX, QFX, EX, and/or SRX.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN, VXLAN, and Service Provider networking.
• Experience supporting medium-to-large-scale production networks.
• Strong troubleshooting and operational support capability.
• Experience working with JTAC and resolving complex network incidents.
• Basic network automation experience with Python and Ansible.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Juniper certifications such as JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, or JNCIE.
• Experience in Service Provider and/or Data Center network environments.
• Network design or architecture experience.
