Network Engineer - SD Support

Role: Network Engineer

Location: San Diego, CA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule following an initial onsite onboarding period. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite Monday-Friday during their first 90 days, with a hybrid schedule available thereafter.
Compensation: $90,500-$117,000 base salary

Ledgent Technology has partnered with a local employer on their search for a Network Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on networking professional to join a growing technology team responsible for supporting and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure.

<>Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networking environments


• Support routing, switching, wireless, and firewall technologies


• Monitor network performance, availability, and security


• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and support escalated incidents


• Participate in network upgrades, implementations, and infrastructure improvements


• Maintain network documentation and operational procedures


• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on technical initiatives


• Assist with capacity planning and performance optimization

<>Qualifications

• 4+ years of enterprise networking experience


• Strong knowledge of routing and switching technologies


• Experience supporting firewall environments


• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

<>Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco certifications or equivalent experience


• Experience with wireless technologies


• Exposure to enterprise security concepts


• Experience supporting complex, multi-site environments
