LLM Researchers and Engineers
Quick Overview
Job Description
Practice Group: Machine Learning & Scientific AI Research
About the Role:
Innovation in computational biology, machine learning, and high-performance computing requires more than data—it demands world-class infrastructure, sophisticated modeling, and flawless execution.
StaffRight Associates is recruiting for an elite talent for a premier global computational biochemistry and technology research firm. We are seeking exceptional LLM Researchers and Engineers to join an interdisciplinary, highly collaborative, intellectually rigorous team developing and applying Large Language Models (LLMs) to complex problems in molecular science and drug discovery.
This is a high-impact position designed for driven problem-solvers who thrive at the intersection of foundational AI research, large-scale multimodal model development, and breakthrough scientific execution using proprietary supercomputing infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect & Build: Scale and optimize large model training and inference workflows across high-performance computing environments.
Data & Research Execution: Design data pipelines and execute pre-training, distributed training, and parallel training architectures.
Systemic Optimization: Implement advanced post-training techniques, including Reinforcement Learning, Contrastive Learning, and Instruction Tuning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with machine learning researchers, software engineers, and domain experts to integrate non-text modalities (e.g., Molecular Graphs, 3D Structures, Time Series) into multimodal models.
What You Bring:
Academic Pedigree: Bachelor''''s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, Physics, Computational Biology, or a related STEM discipline with a track record of achievement.
Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in Large-Scale Machine Learning Systems, LLM Architecture, Multimodal Learning, and strong Python Programming skills.
Analytical Precision: Proven capability in solving complex challenges in AI Model Pre-Training, Post-Training, and Distributed Computing.
Agile Mindset: Intellectual curiosity, versatility, and the ability to balance rigorous engineering standards with fast-paced, autonomous execution under pressure.
Compensation & Work Structure:
Base Salary: $450,000 – $1,000,000 annually, complemented by sign-on and year-end variable compensation alongside full benefits and relocation assistance.
Schedule: Hybrid model (In-office Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility Monday and Friday).
