Security Program Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Security Program Manager to lead and run a large, multi-workstream enterprise security program within a highly regulated financial services environment.
This role is responsible for the overall structure, governance, execution, coordination, and delivery of the program across several concurrent security workstreams, including Advisor Security, AI Security, Contact Center Security, Cybersecurity, and Identity & Access Management.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned Program Manager who knows how to take a complex enterprise initiative, establish the operating model, drive accountability across teams, manage dependencies and risks, and keep the overall program moving forward.
This is not a hands-on engineering or security architecture role. The Program Manager will work closely with technical leads, architects, engineers, product teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and PMO partners who own the detailed technical design and implementation.
Key Responsibilities

• Own and run the overall Security Program from planning through execution, implementation, and operationalization.
• Establish and maintain the program governance model, meeting cadence, decision structure, reporting framework, and delivery standards.
• Develop and manage the integrated program roadmap across all security workstreams.
• Build and maintain detailed program plans, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure each workstream has clear ownership, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and accountability.
• Coordinate multiple project managers, technical leads, engineering teams, architects, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Drive cross-workstream alignment and ensure teams understand how their deliverables impact the broader program.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and resource constraints across the portfolio.
• Maintain program-level RAID logs and ensure issues are escalated and resolved quickly.
• Lead program status meetings, workstream reviews, steering meetings, and executive updates.
• Track overall program health, progress, budget, resource needs, and delivery performance.
• Provide clear visibility into what is on track, what is at risk, and where decisions or executive support are required.
• Manage scope, priorities, sequencing, and change control across the program.
• Ensure technical and business dependencies are understood and incorporated into the delivery plan.
• Coordinate delivery across planning, design, build, testing, pilot, rollout, and production stabilization phases.
• Drive alignment across security, technology, application, infrastructure, data, operations, and business teams.
• Manage vendor and third-party dependencies, deliverables, timelines, and escalations.
• Ensure project teams are operating against consistent delivery standards and program expectations.
• Identify gaps in staffing or capacity and work with leadership to address them.
• Coordinate testing, implementation readiness, cutover, and post-production stabilization across workstreams.
• Ensure decisions, actions, risks, and commitments are documented and followed through.
• Translate complex technical issues into clear program impact, business risk, and decisions required.
• Serve as the central point of coordination and accountability for the overall program.
