Job description

What you'll do
  • Create and run test plans and test cases based on business requirements.
  • Test the full business process, including receiving stock, barcodes, stock movements, sales, dispatch and financial records.
  • Identify bugs and clearly explain them to developers.
  • Re-test fixes and carry out regression testing before releases.
  • Decide when new features are ready for user testing and release.
  • Organise User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users and provide easy-to-follow test scripts.
  • Work out whether an issue is a software bug, configuration problem, training issue or new requirement.
  • Build and maintain automated regression tests using Python.
  • Work with developers to run automated tests as part of each build.
  • Maintain test data and support other QA resources.
What they need

Essential:

  • 3+ years' software/ERP testing experience .
  • experience with at least one ERP implementation or major software release.
  • Strong manual, functional and regression testing skills.
  • experience creating test cases from requirements/acceptance criteria.
  • Good at documenting and explaining defects.
  • Comfortable running UAT with non-technical business users.
  • Able to manage several pieces of testing at the same time.
  • Enough Python to create, maintain and troubleshoot automated tests.
Nice to have
  • Odoo ERP experience .
  • Odoo testing experience, including Python unit tests and JavaScript tours.
  • AI tools for testing or defect analysis.
  • Jira and Confluence.
  • Logistics, warehouse, barcode or stock-management experience .
  • SQL, API or integration testing.
