Registered Manager - Children's Homes | Buttershaw, England, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £60,364 - £73,808 per annum
We're hiring on behalf of a leading provider of specialist education and care for children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs. This organisation is dedicated to creating a nurturing and holistic environment, ensuring the best possible outcomes for young people in their care. They are known for their joined-up approach, integrating clinical support with educational and residential services to foster positive development.
The Role
- Oversee the daily operations of a 7-bed children's home, ensuring a secure, safe, and motivating environment for both staff and young people.
- Lead and manage the team, fostering a supportive and high-performing culture.
- Ensure compliance with all Ofsted requirements and maintain high standards of care.
- Actively participate in the referral process, providing a stable home for children and young people.
- Implement a holistic approach to care, addressing the developmental needs of young people.
- Drive positive outcomes for children and young people, enabling them to rebuild their childhood and develop into well-rounded adults.
What You'll Need
- Experience managing an Ofsted rated Good or Outstanding children's home.
- A committed and enthusiastic leader with a passion for making a difference in young people's lives.
- Level 5 Diploma qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
- A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
- Strong understanding of social, emotional, and mental health needs in children and young people.
- Ability to foster a diverse and inclusive team environment.
