About our client
Our client is a global investment manager with a well-established market position. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to join a growing team in London at an exciting stage in the firm's development. The firm is looking to hire an Associate to support its private equity investment offering, providing broad exposure to product development, investor communications and fundraising activity.
You will work closely with colleagues across the business, developing a deep understanding of the firm's investment strategies and playing an important role in how its products are positioned and communicated to a global investor base. What the job involves
The associate will work across product development, investor communications and fundraising activities, with responsibilities including:

• Develop a strong understanding of the firm's investment strategies and products, supporting product positioning and the preparation of related materials
• Produce investor communications and marketing materials for existing and prospective investors, including presentations, DDQs and materials for investor events
• Support new fund launches, working closely with internal teams on fund strategy, positioning and related documentation
• Contribute to fundraising data rooms, including the preparation of PPMs, case studies and other investor documentation
• Manage ongoing and future fundraising processes, supporting institutional investors throughout the fundraising lifecycle
• Build strong working relationships with internal teams, including investment, legal and finance

Who we are looking for

• Educated to degree level, with experience in investor relations, product specialist roles, investment consulting, fundraising, investment banking or a similar role within asset management
• Good understanding of financial markets, including private markets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic
• Self-starter who takes initiative both internally and externally
