Job Description

Marvin is seeking a Director of Benefits to lead the strategy, design, and administration of our benefits programs for a diverse manufacturing workforce. In this role, you'll evaluate and enhance health, welfare, retirement, and leave offerings to support our people-first culture while managing cost, compliance, and vendor performance. You'll partner closely with HR, finance, and business leaders to align benefits with talent and business goals, leverage data to recommend improvements, and lead a small team to deliver exceptional employee support and benefits education across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead overall benefits strategy, design, and governance for Marvin's U.
  • S. workforce
  • Evaluate and optimize health, welfare, retirement, and leave programs to support talent and business goals
  • Manage relationships, contracts, and performance of benefits vendors, brokers, and consultants
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other federal and state regulations
  • Develop and manage the benefits budget, forecasting costs and modeling plan design changes
  • Lead annual open enrollment, plan renewals, and RFP processes across multiple locations
  • Use data and analytics to assess utilization, cost trends, and employee outcomes, recommending improvements
  • Partner with HR, finance, and leadership to align benefits with total rewards and workforce strategy
  • Oversee employee communication, education, and issue resolution related to benefits programs
  • Coach and develop a small benefits team, promoting continuous improvement and customer service
