About WeBuyVintage

WeBuyVintage is one of the UK’s largest buyers of jewellery, antiques and collectibles. We run more roadshows than any other UK company - over 250 valuation events every month - bringing trusted experts face-to-face with customers across the country.

In three years, we’ve grown from a pub-table idea into an eight-figure business, with a headcount thats grown from 30-100 in the last 2 years, we’re on a mission to make WeBuyVintage a brand everyone recognises.

The Role

As we continue to scale, we’re looking to dramatically increase our volume of content across our social media and digital channels, and we’re looking for a talented video editor to help us turn our growing library of raw footage into engaging, on-brand content.

This is a high-volume, fast-paced editing role and we're looking for someone who is creative, trend-savvy and efficient - who can take an idea or a folder of raw footage and quickly turn it into something people want to watch.

The majority of your work will be short-form social video, primarily for Instagram and Facebook, as well as TikTok in the near future. Some longer-form content and editing will also be required as we capture more educational content for YouTube and various digital marketing channels.

You’ll be working closely with our Social & Content Lead who will provide raw footage from our roadshows, events, behind-the-scenes moments, customer testimonials, our buyers and wider business.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Editing a high volume of short-form social content.

  • Turning raw footage into engaging, platform-ready videos.

  • Creating strong hooks, pacing, cuts, captions, text overlays, music and other editing elements.

  • Editing interviews, testimonials and talking-head content into concise, engaging videos.

  • Creating different versions of content where useful, including alternative hooks, openings or cutdowns.

  • Occasionally editing longer-form content for YouTube and various digital channels.

  • Repurposing longer-form content by editing footage into shorter social-first cuts.

  • Editing video assets for our paid Meta ads, working alongside our wider marketing team and external paid ads agency.

  • Taking existing concepts and briefs and bringing them to life, while also suggesting your own creative approaches.

  • Keeping up with current social trends, formats and editing styles and knowing how to apply them appropriately.

  • Managing multiple edits and delivering work with fast turnaround times

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Commercially minded - understands how content needs to perform, not just look.

  • Self-sufficient - able to take a brief or rough idea and run with it.

  • Platform-aware - understands how content needs to work differently across social platforms.

  • Practical - has a good eye for detail and is able to align with brand guidelines.
