The Role • Apply systems engineering expertise to deliver satellite communications (SATCOM) networks for a global infrastructure. • Assist in developing enterprise-level system architectures, documentation, and life-cycle management for SATCOM systems. • Manage the development, fielding, sustainment, technical refresh, and operations of SATCOM systems. • Contribute to defining technical specifications from real-world mission requirements. • Collaborate on major projects, coordinating design efforts. What You'll Need • 3+ years of experience in system engineering activities (requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, etc.). • Experience assessing SATCOM system architectures, hardware limitations, and selecting new approaches. • Demonstrated experience in planning and conducting technical projects from design to sustainment. • Ability to develop systems engineering plans, identify risks, and create mitigation strategies. • Knowledge of SATCOM Gateway or Teleport architectures and capabilities. • A Top Secret security clearance and a Bachelor's degree.
