Desktop Technician

Position Summary

Dexian has an immediate opportunity for a dedicated Desktop Technician to provide vital surge support for a major aerospace organization. The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to end-user hardware and software, deploying and maintaining devices, and ensuring compliance with security and data protocols. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, access, and connectivity issues for end-users.


• Deploy, configure, repair, replace, and recover supported devices and peripherals.


• Maintain detailed documentation, asset records, and meet specified service levels.


• Manage escalations and communicate progress clearly until resolution.


• Adhere to client security, data-handling, imaging, and change-control procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of IT support experience in an enterprise setting, supporting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and operating systems.


• Proven experience in incident diagnosis, troubleshooting, imaging, deployment, and data transfer.


• Strong customer service skills, active listening, prioritization, and clear communication abilities.


• Experience with ticket, asset, knowledge, and configuration record management.


• Ability to independently handle moderately complex tasks and escalate issues appropriately.


• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education, training, and relevant experience.


• Eligibility for a Department of Defense security clearance at the SECRET level or the ability to obtain and maintain one.


• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
