DevOps Engineer – TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
Work Arrangement: Primarily Onsite; up to one remote day per week depending on tasking
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph

Excellent opportunity for DevOps Engineers at multiple experience levels to join a highly technical team supporting a mission-critical modernization initiative in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

Multiple positions are available, ranging from DevOps Engineers with a few years of experience through Senior/Lead-level professionals. Candidates must currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support applications in complex production environments.
• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain software and infrastructure.
• Manage network servers and related technology tools.
• Monitor systems to ensure required levels of availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot system issues, outages, and application deployment problems.
• Support DevOps automation, infrastructure provisioning, and continuous integration/deployment initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with development, infrastructure, and technical teams supporting modernization efforts.

Required Technical Skills

• Linux
• AWS
• MASH and virtual machines (VMs)
• Docker and Docker Compose
• Docker Swarm
• GitLab CI/CD or similar distributed application deployment experience
• Terraform scripting and VM provisioning
• Ansible scripting and development
• Git

Desired Skills

• Python scripting and development
• NiFi maintenance and configuration
• Elasticsearch maintenance and configuration
• Java/Spring Boot, particularly troubleshooting application error logs
• HAProxy
• MongoDB

Qualifications

• DevOps, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related experience.
• Opportunities are available across multiple experience levels, including Senior and Lead-level positions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative technical environment.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph is required.
