The Role

• Provide an exceptional hospitality and gastronomy service to guests on Intercity and ICE trains.
• Ensure a welcoming atmosphere for passengers during their journeys, assisting with boarding and alighting.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages in the onboard restaurant and at seats.
• Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for guests, offering assistance and resolving inquiries.
• Deliver a high standard of service to ensure passenger satisfaction.

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training in a service-oriented field (e.g., restaurant or hotel specialist) or equivalent experience in gastronomy/hospitality.
• Proven ability to upsell and achieve sales targets through additional or alternative offers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle conflict situations professionally.
• Proficiency in digital communication tools, including tablets and apps.
• Willingness to undertake overnight stays and work irregular shifts.
• Fluent German (B2 level) and conversational English.
