Job Title: Mainframe Architect (z/VM)
Location: Albany, NY (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months+ (with potential for extension)

Overview:
We are seeking a Mainframe Architect (z/VM) to lead architecture and migration activities for a new IBM z/VM environment. The role supports infrastructure modernization and hybrid cloud integration initiatives, providing technical direction for performance, scalability, and future-state architecture.

Mandatory Qualifications: All candidates must meet all listed and be documented in their resume.
• Lead architecture and migration activities for the new IBM z/VM environment.
• Support infrastructure modernization and hybrid cloud integration (HCI) initiatives.
• 7+ years of relevant mainframe architecture and infrastructure experience.
• Experience with IBM z/VM architecture and migration.
• Knowledge of AIX, COBOL, MQ Series, and Unix servers.
• Ability to work onsite in Albany, NY.
• Provide technical direction on platform performance, scalability, and future-state architecture.
• Coordinate technical planning and implementation across z/VM and related infrastructure technologies.
