Platform Validation Engineer

Pay Range: $80/hr - $100/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate complete server/platform systems, focusing on server bring-up, integration, diagnostics, and end-to-end validation.
• Develop, debug, and maintain Python/Shell test automation scripts from scratch.
• Utilize hands-on experience with BMC, preferably Redfish/API-based server management and diagnostics.
• Conduct root cause analysis across hardware, firmware, and software to identify and resolve issues effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive issues through regression and closure.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 12+ years of experience in server platform validation at L10 level.
• Strong understanding of hardware design and system dependencies.
• Proficiency in Linux systems and troubleshooting, including basic kernel-level debugging.
• Experience with storage fundamentals (SSD/HDD, TLC/QLC, SMART) and PCIe fundamentals.
• Ability to diagnose issues and drive them through to resolution, rather than just filing bugs.
• Experience in PCIe BER testing, power qualification, thermal/airflow validation, and drive qualification.
• Familiarity with firmware, BIOS, UEFI, server bring-up, and datacenter validation.
• ODM/JDM experience.
