The Role

Reporting to the Business Manager, your role as a Condition Monitoring Technician will be on a Permanent Full Time basis working in regional Portland, Victoria. You will support our reliability and maintenance teams by implementing and maintaining condition based monitoring programs across critical plant and equipment. You will assist in detecting early signs of mechanical degradation, reduce unplanned downtime and improve overall asset performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine condition monitoring tasks including vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonic testing, oil sampling and data collection.
  • Carry out sensor installation, in situ field balancing and alignment of rotating machinery.
  • Analyse machine condition data and identify trends and early indications of failure.
  • Prepare detailed reports and provide recommendations to maintenance and engineering teams.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • ISO / Level II Vibration Analysis Training and Certification.
  • 2 years of analysis experience (MHM knowledge advantageous).
  • Thermography training and qualification highly regarded.
  • Hands on mechanical experience and knowledge with oil/grease sampling.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Safe work practices and commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • Ability to pass a pre employment medical including a drug & alcohol screen.
