We are hiring on behalf of a leading academic medical center that is establishing a new Intermediate Care (IMC) station within its surgical department. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated IMC team from its inception, contributing to the development and operation of a high-standard surgical intermediate care unit. The Role

• Provide monitoring and nursing care for postoperative and acutely deteriorating surgical patients.
• Perform IMC-specific nursing interventions, including monitoring, mobilization, infusion therapy, wound care, and pain management.
• Participate in interprofessional therapy planning and structured handover processes.
• Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate closely with the medical team.
• Contribute to the implementation and further development of standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

What You'll Need

• Completed training as a registered nurse with a valid professional license.
• Experience in an acute or intensive care setting is advantageous.
• A keen interest in Intermediate Care nursing and professional development.
• Strong teamwork, commitment, and a sense of responsibility.
• For international applicants, a minimum German language proficiency of B2 and recognition of foreign vocational qualifications are required.
