Job description

Work Schedule:

Per Diem, varying schedule, you will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St.

Join a collaborative team of occupational therapists dedicated to helping patients regain function, independence, and quality of life. At UW Health Northern Illinois, you'll work alongside experienced rehabilitation professionals across acute care and outpatient settings, caring for a diverse patient population while developing expertise in evidence-based practice. Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced therapist, you'll have opportunities for mentorship, continuing education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and professional growth within a health system committed to innovation and excellence in patient care.

Additional components of compensation may include:

Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Overtime

On-call pay

Qualifications
  • Participates in educational programs on an ongoing basis and completes mandatory CEUs as required. Required
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Required
Work Experience
Licenses & Certifications
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
  • Current license from the State of Illinois or in the process of acquiring licensure per department policy. Required
