Job Description

Cura Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Charge Nurse to lead our nursing team and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing nursing staff during your shift, coordinating patient care activities, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for both patients and staff. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and best practices.
  • Coordinate and prioritize patient care activities to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Provide direct patient care and support in complex clinical situations.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families.
  • Assist in staff scheduling, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Respond to emergencies and manage critical situations with professionalism and calmness.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and staff activities.
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Proven experience as a charge nurse or in a nursing leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound clinical decisions.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications preferred.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
