Sr Systems Analyst

Introduction

The Sr Systems Analyst will be a key member of our team responsible for system analysis, design, development, and implementation. They will work in a mainframe environment utilizing technologies such as ADSO, COBOL, IDMS, JCL, and SAS to support various projects and provide production support.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated database management systems using IDMS
• Create and maintain Online IDMS programs using ADSO, IDD, ADSC, MAPC, and other tools
• Work on batch COBOL development and Job Control Language (JCL)
• Utilize SAS, VegaSoft, VSAM, SPF, and TSO/ISPF in the Z/OS mainframe environment
• Perform IDMS screen mapping and physical system analysis and design
• Provide application production support and IT customer service

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of recent programming experience in an IDMS/COBOL/JCL/Z/OS mainframe environment
• Minimum 5 years of recent experience in systems analysis, development, and project implementation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with system analysis/design/development
• Database administration skills
• Knowledge of ISPF, Production Support, Project Implementation
• Ability to work with z/OS, VSAM, and COBOL
