Position: IT Finance & Projects Analyst
Salary: £40,000 + Industry-Leading Benefits Package
Location: Burgh Heath / Epsom area (Hybrid: 2 days in office / 3 days remote - 5 days in office for month 1 )

Are you an IT-savvy professional with a strong head for numbers and financial administration?
A leading financial services provider in the automotive sector is seeking an IT Finance & Projects Analyst to join their Business Technology Solutions team . Sitting at the intersection of IT, Finance, and Project Governance, this critical role acts as the primary financial bridge for the department .
This position offers a clear succession path to step into a leadership position managing a direct report while gaining direct mentorship from the current post holder .
Key Responsibilities

  • Project Governance Support: Partner with the IT Portfolio Manager to manage project records, templates, timesheets, and cost recharges across business lines .
  • Financial & Budgetary Control: Manage IT purchase orders, verify supplier invoices against GL codes/cost centers, monitor Capex/Opex, and support monthly/annual budget cycles .
  • IT Administration & Compliance: Oversee IT software licensing records, track supplier contracts, and handle payroll logging (e.g., overtime, standby/out-of-hours payments) .
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the confident point of contact between IT managers, Finance teams, and external auditors (including HMRC) .
What We Are Looking For
  • Practical experience working within an IT environment or an understanding of IT operations/licensing .
  • Strong financial literacy, including experience with budget recharges, Capex/Opex, and Microsoft Excel .
  • Excellent communication skills with an organized, detail-oriented, and composed working style .
  • Willingness to work on-site 5 days a week during the first month for full onboarding, transitioning to a 2-day office hybrid model thereafter .
