The Role

• Conduct market analyses for national and international procurement markets.
• Solicit and evaluate supplier bids and proposals.
• Plan and implement purchasing strategies.
• Develop strategic procurement plans for in-house production and supplier groups.
• Lead supplier negotiations, including contract design and order processing.

What You'll Need

• Completed business degree or a commercial apprenticeship with further qualifications as a Purchasing Specialist.
• Professional experience and strong technical understanding in relevant product groups (e.g., electrical/electronics, defense supplies, optical systems).
• Proficient knowledge of procurement processes.
• Advanced MS Office and SAP skills.
• Excellent German and English language proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Proven negotiation skills.
• Willingness to undertake occasional business travel.
