Job Title: Pega CSSA Constellation Experience
Location: New York, NY - Remote
Employment Type: Contract
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) with hands-on experience in Pega Constellation to support enterprise application development and digital transformation initiatives in the utilities/energy domain. The ideal candidate will have strong Pega development expertise, experience building modern user interfaces using Constellation, and the ability to work closely with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain enterprise applications using the Pega Platform.
  • Build modern, responsive user interfaces using Pega Constellation architecture and design principles.
  • Develop and configure case types, data objects, data pages, decision rules, flows, and business rules.
  • Implement integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration technologies.
  • Follow Pega best practices for application design, performance optimization, reusability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in application design reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
  • Support application testing, deployment, production issues, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and development guidelines.
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, technical discussions, and delivery activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification is mandatory.
  • Strong hands-on experience with the Pega Platform and application development.
  • Proven experience with Pega Constellation, including UI configuration and implementation.
  • Experience developing case management solutions, workflows, data models, and business rules.
  • Knowledge of Pega integrations, REST/SOAP services, and enterprise application connectivity.
  • Understanding of Pega performance optimization, debugging, troubleshooting, and best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the utilities, energy, or other regulated enterprise industries.
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise application implementations.
  • Knowledge of Pega application security, deployment processes, and production support.
  • Experience collaborating with business and technical stakeholders across multiple teams.
Ideal Candidate
A hands-on Pega CSSA developer with strong Constellation implementation experience, enterprise application development skills, and the ability to deliver scalable Pega solutions in a complex business environment.
