About the role
Solugenix is supporting a remote opportunity focused on enterprise workload automation (AutoSys administration). Looking for experience administering and managing Autosys environment such as configuration, access/security, agents, upgrades, platform troubleshooting, and overall scheduler administration or understand architecture of Autosys in a AWS environment and have experience installing and configuring an Autosys agent on EC2 or Kubernetes (EKS). This is a great opportunity to join an incredibly talented team focused on platform modernization and containerized infrastructure, with room to learn and grow. You will work closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to support automation, monitoring, incident resolution, and cloud-based infrastructure initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Overall 10+ years of experience, hands-on experience with Autosys administration.
• Experience creating, managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting scheduled jobs in production environments.
• Strong understanding of job dependencies, batch cycles, workflow automation, and production support.
• Foundational exposure to cloud, containers, Linux, and infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of automation, monitoring, incident management, system reliability, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps/SRE practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively with development, operations, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch AutoSys components.
• Administer the AutoSys application server, scheduler/event processor, databases, agents, and client utilities.
• Configure agents and troubleshoot agent connectivity.
• Manage high availability, failover, disaster recovery, and recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot scheduler, database, application server, network, and authentication issues.
• Analyze AutoSys logs and resolve platform-level incidents.
• Manage security, credentials, access, certificates, and service accounts.
• Perform performance monitoring, capacity planning, and platform health checks.
• Work with JIL, calendars, global variables, job dependencies, and command-line utilities.
• Support production changes, releases, upgrades, and incident response.
• Write Shell, Python, PowerShell, or similar automation scripts.
• Work comfortably in Linux and enterprise production environments.

Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $80/hour to $100/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
