About the Role:

*This role is a New York City based HYBRID position. Candidates must be located in NYC, and willing to come into the office on a hybrid basis, three times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).*

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of FP&A and Corporate Development, the Vice President, Strategic Finance will be a key hire who touches many parts of the company with high senior leadership visibility. The role will partner closely with Marketing, Content, Product, Technology, Analytics, and the Executive Team.

Subscriber & Revenue Forecasting:

  • Build and own the subscriber model, capturing seasonality, tentpole events, pricing, content distribution, and marketing and packaging strategy
  • Establish live tracking of subscriber health and performance to flag emerging trends early and inform timely adjustments across marketing, product, and programming
  • Translate forecast outputs into inputs for revenue planning, marketing spend, and broader finance and analytics processes

Scenario Planning & Business Cases:

  • Develop and run subscriber scenario analyses for key business initiatives, helping operating partners understand the range of outcomes, risks, and tradeoffs
  • Build business cases that give leadership a clear, quantified basis for investment and prioritization decisions
  • Partner with Technology and Product to size the subscriber and engagement impact of product and viewing-experience improvements

Pricing & Packaging:

  • Apply structured research and financial analysis to pricing and packaging decisions, sizing risk and upside for reach, ARPU, and margin across Fubo product tiers
  • Explore creative approaches to packaging and pricing that take advantage of Fubo's expanded entertainment library and distinctive sports portfolio
  • Track post-launch performance against expectations and feed learnings back into future pricing and planning decisions

Content & Deal Analysis:

  • Partner with the Content and deal teams to translate their existing deal models into business outcomes, running subscriber analyses across carriage, programming, and distribution agreements, including RSNs, sports packages, and entertainment bundles
  • Run subscriber cohort analyses based on viewership and engagement behavior to inform negotiation strategy, renewal decisions, and distribution recommendations
  • Help bring a consistent, ROI-driven lens to content investment decisions by connecting deal terms to subscriber value and margin contribution

Executive Team Partnership:

  • Serve as an analytical thought partner to the executive team on capital allocation, balancing growth investment against opportunities within the Disney ecosystem (ad tech, programming, consumer research, and viewership data)
  • Produce board and investor materials that connect recent business trends to the larger financial narrative
  • Work across Finance, Marketing, Content, Product, and Analytics to ensure decisions are grounded in shared data and a common view of the numbers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field; MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • 8+ of experience in financial planning and analysis, strategic finance, corporate development, consulting, investment banking, or a similar analytical role
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, with demonstrated experience building forecasting and scenario models from scratch and translating operational or deal inputs into financial outcomes
  • Experience with subscription, streaming, media, or consumer technology businesses strongly preferred, including familiarity with subscriber metrics such as churn, ARPU, LTV, and CAC
  • Experience with pricing, packaging, or content and distribution deal analysis a plus
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proven ability to partner and influence across functions, building trust with teams that own their own models and processes, including Marketing, Content, Product, Technology, and Analytics
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analysis into clear recommendations for executives, boards, and investors
  • Thrives in ambiguity and fast-moving environments; comfortable structuring open-ended problems, making sound assumptions with incomplete data, and driving to a recommendation
  • Self-starter with strong ownership, good judgment, and attention to detail
  • Passion for sports, streaming, and media is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in SQL, Looker, Tableau, Python, or similar
  • Familiarity with Claude, Gemini, and experience developing AI-native solutions

Perks & Benefits:

  • Robust benefit package including Health/Dental/Vision coverage 401k, Life Insurance, and commuter benefits
  • Free Premium Fubo Account
  • Unlimited PTO days and regular company-wide activities
  • Fubo's main headquarters are located in Midtown Manhattan, with offices in Paris, and Bangalore
  • Fubo is an e-verified company

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Fubo's equity plan, annual cash bonus plans, unlimited PTO, and a full range of medical benefits.
