Data Engineer Lead

Data Engineering & Cloud Migration

• Design, develop, and support data pipelines using Python, SQL, and BigQuery.
• Migrate applications, databases, and data assets from legacy platforms to Google Cloud Platform.
• Execute testing, deployment, validation, and migration cutover activities.
• Coordinate with offshore team members as needed

Operations & Support

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Google Cloud Platform workloads
• Provide production support and participate in incident resolution as needed.
• Be available, when required, to support critical deployments, production issues, and business-critical activities.

Communication & Accountability

• Provide timely, accurate, and proactive status reporting on assignments, milestones, and deliverables.
• Escalate issues and blockers early to support timely resolution.
• Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and follow-through for assigned work.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in:
• BigQuery
• Python
• SQL
• Airflow / Composer
• Git
• Experience with ETL/ELT development
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
