Children's Residential Support Worker | Westbury, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £34,274 - £40,640

The Role
• Support young people in their day-to-day lives, ensuring smooth operation of the home environment.
• Assist with daily routines, including school preparation, homework help, and activity planning.
• Engage young people in enjoyable activities during evenings and weekends, such as games, sports, or outings.
• Foster positive relationships by understanding and responding to each young person's unique needs, personality, and potential.
• Complete necessary paperwork and contribute to creating lasting positive memories for the young people.
• Contribute to creating pathways for young people to become well-rounded adults.
What You'll Need
• A positive, "can-do" attitude and a willingness to collaborate and assist others.
• Genuine empathy and honesty, with a deep care for the well-being of young people and colleagues.
• Resilience to effectively manage and navigate challenging situations.
• A full UK driving license held for at least 12 months.
• A commitment to supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
• A willingness to undertake a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare if not already held, with full training and support provided.
