Duties HVAC Engineer

• Develop and interpret HVAC schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide installation and maintenance activities.
• Lead maintenance operations by inspecting, repairing, and optimizing HVAC equipment such as air conditioning units, boilers, chillers, and ventilation systems.
• Oversee the construction and commissioning of new HVAC systems within building projects, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety regulations.
• Diagnose mechanical issues swiftly using diagnostic tools and repair or replace faulty components to minimize downtime.
• Supervise maintenance teams or contractors during large-scale repairs or system upgrades, providing clear instructions and ensuring quality standards are met.
• Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to ensure ongoing performance efficiency and compliance with environmental standards.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, schematics updates, repairs performed, and system modifications for accountability and future reference.

Qualifications HVAC Engineer

• Proven mechanical knowledge with a strong understanding of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and ventilation equipment.
• Experience reading and interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and system manuals.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide teams or coordinate contractors effectively.
• Hands-on experience in equipment repair, troubleshooting complex HVAC issues efficiently.
• Construction experience related to installing or upgrading HVAC systems within building projects is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of maintenance best practices combined with a proactive approach to system upkeep.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with project teams, vendors, and stakeholders effectively.
