This employer is looking for a skilled Technical Writer to join a well-established organization supporting critical government projects. The role involves creating and refining complex technical documentation to ensure clarity and adherence to industry standards. The Role

• Review, revise, and edit documents, manuals, and technical orders to align with style guidelines and best practices.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to gather information and produce original written drafts for review and finalization.
• Organize and format content for optimal clarity, flow, and readability, ensuring grammatical correctness.
• Prepare, edit, and revise reports, correspondence, briefings, and other documentation as needed.
• Maintain a comprehensive listing of technical documents, including key data and revision schedules.
• Develop original content such as articles and talking points by assessing information from diverse sources.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to write in a variety of formats, styles, and "voices."
• Experience applying advanced writing and editing concepts.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Security Investigation (US Citizenship required).
• Familiarity with Federally-mandated "plain language" is a plus.
