Job Description

Role Name: AI / DevOps Engineer
Location: Cincinnati, OH (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps & Platform Operations Engineer to manage and support cloud applications, data platforms, and integration services running on Microsoft Azure. The candidate will focus on platform reliability, monitoring, production support, incident troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Azure applications, infrastructure, APIs, and data platforms for availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Work with Azure Storage, Azure SQL, App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, and AKS for operational support and administration.
  • Monitor observability dashboards, alerts, application latency, endpoints, dependencies, and service health metrics.
  • Support Kubernetes/AKS environments by troubleshooting pod failures, deployments, resource issues, and container workloads.
  • Perform operational recovery activities such as restarting pods/services and restoring application availability.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, deployments, service connections, agent pools, and release processes.
  • Support code/configuration movement across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Monitor data ingestion and integration workflows, validate source files, troubleshoot ETL/data movement failures, and perform data validation.
  • Handle production incidents, perform triage, coordinate resolution, and work within defined SLAs.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and develop/track Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) for recurring or critical issues.
  • Support change management, deployment validation, problem management, and production releases.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, alert optimization, monitoring improvements, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, support documentation, and knowledge articles.
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, data, and DevOps teams to improve platform stability and reliability.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with AKS/Kubernetes and containerized applications.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and production operations.
  • Experience with Azure monitoring/observability tools and alert management.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, infrastructure, APIs, and data pipelines.
  • Experience with ETL/data integration workflows and data validation.
  • Strong understanding of Incident, Problem, Change Management, RCA, and CAP processes.
  • Excellent communication and ability to work effectively in an onsite production-support environment.
