The Role

• Lead complex design efforts and develop complete drawing packages.
• Perform advanced 3D modeling using AutoCAD to create fabrication-ready designs.
• Develop CNC-ready cut files and material forming details.
• Collaborate directly with engineers, project managers, and clients.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior drafters.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry codes and standards.

What You'll Need

• 10+ years of drafting/design experience in industrial, shipyard, or manufacturing settings.
• Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D modeling.
• Strong understanding of heavy structural steel and welded design.
• Proven ability to produce independent, fabrication-ready drawing packages.
• Experience with lofting, CNC cutting files, and GD&T.
• Deep knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
