The Role

• Engage in practical work with children under guidance in a social setting.
• Participate in the daily tasks of early childhood education.
• Provide individualized attention to children, fostering their integration and progress.
• Document and reflect upon your work and observations.
• Develop engaging, play-based activities to promote children's development.
• Act as a point of contact for parents and/or educators.

What You'll Need

• A university entrance qualification (Abitur) or equivalent, or a qualified vocational degree, or certification as a state-certified technician or business administrator.
• German language proficiency at B2 level.
• A genuine passion for working with children.
• Patience, resilience, and the ability to manage conflicts constructively.
• Empathy combined with assertiveness.
• Responsibility and a strong interest in social issues.
• A desire to understand both the practical and theoretical aspects of childhood education.
